PLYMOUTH, Ind. — Kody Swanson captured Friday night’s debut race for the fledgling 500 Sprint tour at Plymouth Speedway.
The initial race for the non-winged asphalt sprint car tour went 75 laps with Swanson beating Little 500 winner Tyler Roahrig to the checkered flag by 3.340 seconds for the victory.
Billy Wease, who started on the pole, finished third, with Dakota Armstrong and Bobby Santos rounding out the top five.
The series is back in action Saturday night at Michigan’s Berlin Raceway.
