WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. — Cody Gardner led all 30 laps to win the USCS Sprint Car Series Speedweek opener Saturday night at Riverside Int’l Speedway.
riving the No. g6 sprint car, Gardner started on the pole and bested the 29-car field, leading seventh-starter Derek Hagar to the checkered flag on the historic quarter-mile dirt track.
Ernie Ainsworth finished third, with Dustin Gates and Howard Moore rounding out the top five.
Mike Hall topped the micro sprint main event.
