KNOXVILLE, Iowa — The Friday night program during the 33rd annual 360 Knoxville Nationals will see five winners of the prestigious event for winged 360 sprint cars in action.
Two-time winner Terry McCarl (2009 & ’15) headlines the group that includes Kerry Madsen (2020), Brian Brown (2014), Clint Garner (2017) and Wayne Johnson (2008).
Daryn Pittman, the 2013 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series champion, will drive Guy Forbrook’s No. 5 machine, while longtime NASCAR driver Kasey Kahne will steer his own Kasey Kahne Racing No. 9 as he attempts the 360 Knoxville Nationals for the first time.
Anthony Macri is aboard the Clauson Marshall Racing entry in place of injured driver Tyler Courtney.
Parker Price-Miller in his family-owned machine and Hunter Schuerenberg, who will drive Kevin Swindell’s No. 39, will also be strong contends along with Zeb Wise in the Rudeen Racing entry.
Other invaders include Californians Shane Golobic and Justin Sanders and four-time USAC sprint car champion Brady Bacon.
Among the Knoxville Raceway regulars who should be in the hunt will be Brooke Tatnell, Garet Williamson, Carson McCarl and Lynton Jeffrey.
The preliminary night feature pays $3,000 to win, but Saturday’s 30-lap main event pays $20,000 to win with $500 paid per lap led, making it possible for the winner to earn as much as $35,000.
