BARBERVILLE, Fla. — Dominant Tyler Clem won Saturday night’s Germfree Southern Sprint Car Shootout at Volusia Speedway Park.
Starting from the pole, Clem led all 30 laps of the United Sprint Car Series main event and banked $5,000 for outrunning a star-studded field of 360 sprint cars at the half-mile track.
Clem held off third-starter Davie Franek for the victory.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. started outside the front row and finished third, with Anthony Macri fourth.
Ryan Timms, who won Friday night’s feature, romped from 17th on the grid to finish fifth.
