Vauxhal has created a new offer for drivers to help smooth the switch to EVs.
Available to buyers across its electric car and van range, Vauxhall Plug & Go includes a free home charging unit, eight years’ roadside assistance and battery warranty, a free six-month BP Pulse subscription, and three years’ free servicing.
Drivers will get a home charging unit valued at £800 and free home installation with a choice of two wallboxes: PodPoint Solo 3 or Hive EV Charging.
The eight-year roadside assistance cover includes roadside, home service, relay, and European assistance. Meanwhile, the eight-year/100,000-mile battery warranty guarantees at least 70% charging capacity throughout the warranty period.
“Vauxhall is helping to move Britain into the electric era with our Plug & Go offer that aims to remove the barriers to making the switch to electric and simplify the EV ownership experience,” says Paul Wilcox, the company’s MD.
“Switching to electric is now an even better choice for Vauxhall customers with an easy, all-in-one package covering home and public charging, warranty, roadside assistance and servicing. Vauxhall is committed to making electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle ownership as simple as possible, as we continue to progress towards becoming a 100 per cent electric brand by 2028.”
Plug & Go is available to buyers of Corsa-e, Mokka-e, New Grandland Plug-in HYBRID-e, All-new Astra Plug-in HYBRID-e, Combo-e Life, Vivaro-e Life, Combo-e, Vivaro-e and All-new Movano-e.
With Vauxhall offering an electrified variant across its entire model line-up by 2024 and a fully electric vehicle range by 2028, now seems a very prudent time to switch for Vauxhall drivers on the fence about EVs.
