Tata Motors is all set to announce the long-range Nexon EV prices on May 11, 2022. According to sources, the long-range Nexon EV will get a 30 percent larger battery than the current model and will have a claimed range of around 400km. It will also have some new features and is rumored to be 3 to 4 lacs pricier than the current version.
It has been a long wait for this car since it was earlier supposed to launch in mid-April, but from what is advertised, it will surely be worth the wait. The most significant change in the long-range Nexon EV will be a new 40kWh battery pack, which is 30 percent larger than the existing model’s 30.2kWh unit. This will lead to some alterations in the overall body of the car to accommodate the larger battery.
The new battery will add significant advantages to this model as it is estimated to have a range of about 400km! The current Nexon EV has a range of 312km (ARAI) on a single charge. The long-range Nexon EV is also expected to get a more powerful 6.6kW AC charger option. The new EV is also rumored to be getting an air purifier and ventilated front seats. It is also expected to get cruise control, a park mode, and Electronic Stability Program (ESP) over the current Nexon EV.
