As Ram prepares to launch its first battery-electric pickup truck, it’s announcing a new online portal for consumers to follow the plug-in journey.
The new site, RamRevolution.ca, promises to give Canadian customers information on the Ram 1500 Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV), which launches in 2024, as well as allow them to provide input on its development.
“Our new Ram Revolution campaign will allow us to engage with consumers in a close and personal way, so we can gather meaningful feedback, understand their wants and needs and address their concerns,” said Mike Koval Jr., CEO of Ram, “ultimately allowing us to deliver the best electric pickup truck on the market with the Ram 1500 BEV.”
Electric pickup trucks are already available from Ford and Rivian – in very limited quantities right now – and others are on their way from Chevrolet and Tesla.
The company said Ram will deliver “fully electrified solutions” in the majority of its segments by 2025, and a full portfolio in all segments no later than 2030. Parent company Stellantis has previously announced that all of its brands, which include Dodge, Chrysler, Fiat, and Alfa Romeo, will offer electrified vehicles.
