RAM’s answer to the electric Ford F-150 Lightning and Chevrolet Silverado EV is taking shape
RAM Trucks has released new teaser images of its all-electric RAM 1500 BEV pick-up, despite being two years away from launch.
The latest preview of the battery-electric full-size ute is not thought to be the production model but more of a design proposal that RAM is expected to present to fans and prospective owners to garner feedback.
A second image suggests how the pick-up will package its batteries within the Stellantis Group’s all-new STLA Frame platform that is being specifically developed for trucks.

Full details remain thin on the ground, but the STLA ladder-frame chassis is claimed to be capable of packaging a huge 200kWh battery that will provide a range of up to 800km.
A smaller 159kWh lithium-ion battery pack will also be available.
RAM is also set to offer electric motors that vary in power from 150kW to 330kW, with the most powerful dual-motor 1500 BEV to get around 660kW.
As part of the latest tease of RAM’s answer to the Ford F-150 Lightning, Chevrolet Silverado EV, Tesla Cybertruck and Rivian R1T, the US brand has also launched RamRevolution.com – a new website that keeps fans updated on the battery-powered pick-up’s development and asks for feedback.
RAM says it’s so keen to get customer feedback it will create several events later this year to meet its customers.
It’s hoped these encounters will help shape the company’s future as it begins expanding its electrified offerings.
