It looks like the Purosangue will be another four-door Ferrari.
Unlike its supercar forefathers, the Purosangue is showing off that extra ground clearance that sets it apart.

Last week we shared shots of the Purosangue spied with a Maserati Levante face, well the hyped up model from the prancing horse is back but this time it’s looking like a lifted hatchback with extra ground clearance or something of the sorts
It looks like the Purosangue will be another four-door Ferrari.
After celebrating their best year yet with the sale of over 11 000 new vehicles globally, Ferrari seem to be as committed as ever to jump onto the SUV bandwagon to entice buyers in the popular category. Interestingly enough, latest spy shots of the Purosangue in heavy camouflage have presented something that isn’t the obvious shape of an SUV but rather a lifted hatchback.

After the Prancing Horse committed to production starting in 2022, this Purosangue spied prototype is hiding what appears to be the full production body and while styling is completely concealed by the thick coverings above, it may not be a conventional SUV afterall.
Heritage of pure sports cars aside, the late Sergio Marchionne realised that in order to remain a relevant automaker, Ferrari would have to dabble in popular segments that the rich throw their money at with haste. Look at the Lamborghini Urus for example, which boasts more than half of the Raging Bull’s annual sales. While the Lambo is in essence just a rebodied Audi RS Q8, this camo draped Ferrari Purosangue looks like nothing that has come before it.
Ferrari have been ambiguous as to whether the Purosangue is an SUV or not with, in fact we didn’t even know if it would be called a Purosangue until recently but it is starting to look much clearer now after former Ferrari CEO Louis Carey Camilleri refused to call the Purosangue an SUV, further stating that he didn’t “want to hear it in the same phrase as Ferrari.”

The engine bay, like the evocative Roma model is long and swooping which does not discredit the possibility of a V12 going in there, although it is unlikely. What we can realistically expect in the Ferrari SUV is a battery pack that allows the novel creation from Maranello with a much longer range than the 296 GTB and the SF90 Stradale. In addition, we also know that the Purosangue SUV will ride on a new platform with support for air suspension, all-wheel drive, multiple engine options, and a four-seat interior.
The latest Purosangue spied images are shaping it up to be an interesting contender in the SUV market.
