The Michelin X Multi T2 is the latest truck tyre introduced by Michelin Malaysia for hauliers who want to optimise their truck’s cost and productivity, as well as for increased safety. The robust commercial vehicle tyre offers an excellent lifespan, resulting in less frequent tyre replacement. Furthermore, it is lighter due to the use of less material, making it a more environmentally-friendly choice.

To meet these requirements, the Michelin X Multi T2 range uses reinforced crown plies to improve tyre resistance to road hazards by 26%¹. Additionally, Michelin’s Regenion technology allows for a reduction in mileage cost, a lifespan increase by 15%², as well as extended grip performance and greater traction in all weather conditions.

A new tyre tread design enables the Michelin X Multi T2 to offer increased rigidity when cornering. There is a 10% improvement in stability³ for greater safety. Furthermore, a new rubber mixture offers a 10% improvement in protection against aggression⁴. These new materials reduce damage and also allow for better retreading capabilities, as well as increased mileage with less irregular rubber wear on the tread.

Despite being kinder to the environment by using less material, it is also more robust. At 1.7 kg⁵ less than its predecessor, it nonetheless offers greater energy efficiency and reduced CO2 emissions. This improved performance of the X Multi T2 range is the result of innovative and patented technologies.
