A 29-year-old faces several charges after police say a man driving a stolen vehicle struck three police cruisers in southeast London while trying to evade arrest Thursday night.
Police located a stolen vehicle in the area of Trafalgar Street and Lansdowne Avenue, near the intersection of Adelaide Street and Hamilton Road, about 8:45 p.m., London police said.
The male driver struck three police vehicles while attempting to flee the scene, said police. Officers stopped the vehicle, but the suspect refused to exit it and resisted arrest before being taken into custody, police added.
Officers found two sets of stolen licence plates after searching the vehicle.
Leslie Dentelbeck, a 29-year-old man of no fixed address, is charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle, impaired operation of a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, and several counts of possession of stolen property.
He was to appear in court Friday.
