Battery-tech and advanced materials startup company, Log9 Materials partners with Pi Beam. Under the new partnership, Log9 Materials and Pi Beam will be working together to boost last-mile delivery operations in India.
To boost last-mile delivery operations, Log9 Materials will empower Pi Beam’s logistics using InstaCharge battery packs to reduce downtime.
For this, Log9 Materials will supply Rage+ RapidEV electric 3-wheelers equipped with RapidX battery packs. Thanks to this battery pack equipped with InstaCharge technology, the Rage+ RapidEV can charge from 0 to 100 per cent in just 35 minutes.
Speaking about the Rage+ RapidEV electric 3-wheeler, it is jointly developed by Omega Seiki Mobility and Log9 Materials.
Speaking about the partnership, Dr Akshay Singhal, Founder & CEO, Log9 Materials said, “We are happy to partner with Pi Beam to empower their delivery operations with the Rage+ RapidEVs electric 3-wheelers powered by Log9’s battery packs and InstaCharge technology. We are confident that this partnership will go a long way to give an impetus to the transformation of India’s conventional last-mile logistics operations to sustainable electric mobility. This is also in line with Log9’s initiative of Responsible Delivery Movement, and moreover, this partnership strengthens our movement and re-affirms our joint commitment to fight against climate change by reducing last-mile delivery emissions.”
Recently, Log9 Materials also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with EKA, where Log9 Materials will supply RapidX battery packs for the EKA E9 electric buses and upcoming Light Commercial Vehicles in the country.
The partnership between EKA and Log9 is targeting to deploy at least 10,000 LCVs and more than 200 electric buses with InstaCharge enabled RapidX battery packs in less than one year.
Thanks to the Log9’s InstaCharge technology in the RapidX battery packs, these battery packs take less than 30 minutes to charge to its full capacity. In addition to fast charging capability, the RapidX battery packs come with 15 years warranty and can last more than 15,000 charge-discharge cycles.
Log9 Materials also claim that the RapidX battery packs will be available in the market in the next 3 to 6 months and also claims that these batteries can charge 9X faster, 9X battery life and also provide 9X performance.
In addition to that, these battery packs are claimed to be extremely durable as these battery packs can operate between temperatures ranging from -30°C to 60°C.
One of the advantages of using the RapidX battery packs on electric vehicles is the reduced charging time compared to other battery packs on the market.
A while back, Log9 Materials collaborated with IIT-Delhi to promote superlative research and development in the areas of developing advanced battery and energy storage solutions.
