Radwood and Concours d’Lemons are now part of the busy weekend under Hagerty.

The northeast’s popular concours event is coming back in a matter of weeks, after a successful preview last October that saw two days of events, including Radwood. This means that Greenwich Concours will have taken place twice in the span of eight months, which actually sounds like something that its new Hagerty owners should think about making a permanent feature: A biannual Greenwich Concours, with summer and fall weekend dates.
While we let that thought circulate among Hagerty’s planning staff, the upcoming concours, scheduled for June 3rd through 5th, will once again adopt the single-day format for the formal concours itself, in contrast to the Concours Americana and Concours Europa schedule that the event had stuck to in the past. But instead, we’ll see an expanded roster of satellite events spanning the whole weekend.
Friday June 3 will see concours participants take their cars on a tour of Connecticut and New York, followed by a welcome party for special guests, exhibitors, and judges in the evening.
Saturday will see both Radwood and Concours d’Lemons on the show field at the same time from the morning into the early afternoon, as well as seminars on several topics occurring throughout the day. The second night of the event will end with a cocktail party on the waterfront.
American and foreign cars will now share the park grounds on the same day.

Sunday will be the day of the formal concours itself, with domestic and foreign cars competing for the top awards. The awards ceremony will kick off at 2 pm, with the show set to end at 4 pm.
If there is one satellite event that won’t return in June, it’s the Bonhams auction. But that’s because it took place back in October.
The addition of Radwood and Concours d’Lemons, on the other hand, was perhaps long overdue, as the crowds had used the two main parking lots of the event for their own impromptu car shows in past years, leading to quite a bit of overflow. The new two-day schedule for the three separate shows should prove to be a popular change, allowing for a more diverse group of enthusiasts to enjoy the weekend.
