The FIA has retained just a single DRS zone for this weekend’s Emilia Romagna Grand Prix at Imola, but has shifted the location of the detection point.
As per 2021 the only DRS zone at the circuit will be along the main straight, with the activation point 60 metres before the Turn 19 kink that precedes the finish line.
But the detection point has been moved from 20 metres before Rivazza 1 to 385 metres before the left-hander.
It means the detection point is now around halfway between the exit of the newly-renamed Fausto Gresini chicane and Rivazza 1.
It is the first circuit on the 2022 calendar to feature just one DRS zone after multiple sections of track were used in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Australia.
