We won’t have to wait long before further details about the car and the company are forthcoming.
Faraday Future aims to reveal more information about the car and itself on Jan 4 at CES, which is stepping up security for exhibitors and visitors in the wake of recent criminal and terror attacks.
Faraday Future was formed in 2014 and is well-funded as it could attract notable names in the EV industry to hop across. Among the top designers it has lured over from Tesla and BMW are Richard Kim, Page Beerman, Pontus Fontaeus and Seu Neuhauser.
The company recently announced it would set up its plant in northern Las Vegas, The area offers expansive development space, an enthusiastic workforce, an encouraging tax environment, proximity to its California headquarters, and easy access to the tourism capital of Las Vegas, which would enable it to offer plant tours and other experiences.
In addition, its location, on the south end of the “electric highway,” is a stretch of US Route 95 between Reno and Las Vegas that is populated with a large network of vehicle charging stations.
