Vauxhall is boosting the appeal of its new Corsa EV by throwing in three years’ worth of miles and a free home charger.
The offer is available to anyone who takes a Corsa-e home on a Personal Contract Hire (PCH) plan between 8th December and 11th January next year.
The deal is being offered in conjunction with British Gas and gives Corsa-e drivers access to a British Gas Dual Fuel Tariff. Vauxhall credits each customer’s account to cover the cost of charging for the equivalent of 30,000 miles over a three-year period.
Vauxhall reckons running an equivalent 12.-litre petrol-engined Corsa for 30k would cost £2900 – though you could buy or lease that petrol Corsa for less than the £330 per month you need to fork out to put a Cora-e on the drive.
You also get a six-month subscription to Polar’s network of 7000 charging points, in case you deplete the Corsa’s 209-mile range and need to charge out on the road. Like its Peugeot e-208 sister, the Corsa-e supports 100kW chargers – if you can find one – and can deliver an 80 per cent charge in 30 mins.
