In 2021, the BrightDrop EV600 went on sale as the brand’s first model. The next vehicle in General Motors’ new EV line for the commercial delivery and logistics industry will be the BrightDrop EV410. Here’s everything we know about the electric van so far.
Design & Specifications
While the BrightDrop EV600 is a full-size electric van, the BrightDrop EV410 is a mid-size eLCV. Designed for shorter, more frequent trips, it offers many of the bigger model’s features but in smaller dimensions.
GM hasn’t released the EV410’s exact dimensions yet, but has said that the mid-size delivery has a length of under 20 feet and a wheelbase of just over 150 inches. The EV410 can fit into a standard-size parking space, and offers exceptional maneuverability and curb management. It has a gross vehicle weight rating of less than 10,000 lbs and more than 400 cubic feet of cargo space. GM is expecting the EV410 to deliver a range of up to 250 miles.

The EV410 has a low step-in height for easy entry and exit, and it offers several more comfort and convenience features, such as front sliding pocket doors, wide cabin walkways, and an optional large auto-open cargo bulkhead door. The eLCV has a security system with motion sensors to ensure the cargo remains secure at all times.
BrightDrop EV410 Features
A myriad of safety features are standard, such as front and rear parking sensors, IntellliBeam Automatic High Beam headlamps, Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Alert, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Following Distance Indicator, Front Pedestrian Braking, and HD backup camera.
HD 360-degree camera system, Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking, Rear Cross Traffic Braking, Rear Pedestrian Alert, Reverse Automatic Braking, and Blind Zone Steering Assist are some of the optionally available ADAS features.
Manufacturing & Release Date
Production of the BrightDrop EV410 will take place at GM’s CAMI Assembly Plant in Ingersoll, Canada, from 2023. Verizon will be the first customer of the EV410, and GM may deliver the first units in late 2023.
