Based on the all-new Thar, the Hulk came out last year as a more intimidating version of the popular Thar
Popular car customisation garage – DC2 (earlier known as DC Designs) revealed a muscular version of the all-new Thar. With flared wheel arches and luxurious cabin, it does look different from the stock version.
It looks like DC2 has got customers for the Hulk. It is an all-new Mahindra Thar-based customised SUV. DC2 has made quite a few changes in the car. But they have not revealed the price of the whole project.
What are the changes on the DC2 Hulk?
There are many. Starting with the exterior, DC2 has made the cabin as luxurious as possible. Starting with the front, the DC2 Hulk gets a completely redesigned front-end. The Mahindra Thar gets a new grille, a new bonnet, and new aero bits that DC2 claims improve the aerodynamics.
The iconic vertical grille that has dripped down from Jeep to Mahindra brand is replaced with a new one. There are electronically-retractable side-steps that helps passengers to climb in easily.
The massive Maxxis tyres have increased the ground clearance of the Hulk. With the new tyres, the SUV definitely looks intimidating.
Luxurious cabin
And this is what the cabin looks like!
DC2’s expertise is in the lounge conversion of the cars. With that experience, the Hulk gets a completely red coloured cabin (a completely different colour from the character it is named after). DC has really used the red shade to highlight almost everything inside the cabin.
DC has also added new sportier bucket seats. There are no seats in the car. But we believe that depends on the customers. You can retain the seats as well.
DC has added an electronic fixed panoramic sunroof. There are no changes in the engine. It remains in stock form.
But it looks very different from the stock Thar
DC2 Hulk sure looks good in the official pictures released. But do you think it is attractive in real life as well? Do let us know in the comments below.
