The next-generation Innova will underpin a new platform and will likely feature Hybrid powertrain
Toyota introduced the first generation Innova MPV in 2004, and it became an instant hit for its spacious interior, comfortable seats, and powerful engine options. Following the success, the Japanese automaker launched the second generation model in 2015, rechristened as Innova Crysta.
The latest online reports suggest that the third-generation model will be unveiled later this year, and it will most likely go on sale in 2023.
The test mule of the upcoming MPV was spotted recently, and automotive digital rendering artist Andra Febrian has created a realistic digital rendering of the third generation Innova based on the spy shots.

The third-gen model will not be a total departure from its predecessor in terms of design. It is expected to carry over the same boxy design with rounded edges from its predecessor.
