This digital render of Yamaha R15 based adventure tourer looks practical and reminds us of the now discontinued Fazer 150
There is no denying that the Yamaha YZF-R15 is quite a popular offering in the 150cc segment, especially amongst the young generations. But who would have thought that the R15 might look equally mesmerising in this Adventure tourer avatar.
Digital automobile artist Abin Designs 511 has designed this innovative concept that gives us an idea and a closer look at how this motorcycle would have looked like in flesh if the Japanese two wheeler maker plan to launch it in the near future.

The rendering artist has reimagined the Yamaha R15X in two colour themes- Red and Blue. The designer has kept the front profile of the R15 intact, the aggressive front face features the same bi-functional LED unit and the aerodynamic front fairing.

We also loved the new taller windscreen that will help protect the rider from various weather elements. While the wide handlebars, long suspension setup, and sculpted fuel tank help add the adventure tourer character to the R15X. The rendering artist has paid quite an attention to detail and even added a bash plate which is a necessary addition to any adventure tourer.
The concept bike also gets a semi fairing with black body graphics with R15 inscribed on it.
Some other design highlights of the R15X concept include split seats, a sleek tail section, and alloy wheels. There is no visible exhaust on the motorcycle, but an underbelly exhaust unit would have matched the overall theme of the bike.
Yamaha used to sell the Fazer 150 in the country not so long ago, and if te bike maker plans to launch an Adventure tourer based on the YZF-R15 it could lock horns directly with the Hero Xpulse 200 4V and the Honda CB200X.

Yamaha could actually think of introducing a sporty adventure tourer to rival the Hero Xpulse 200 4V and the Honda CB200X
The Yamaha R15M features a 155 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, SOHC FI engine that makes 18.4 PS @10,000 RPM and 14.2 Nm of peal torque at 7,500 Rpm paired to a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox.
