Every now and then, we come across some crazy mod-jobs worth mentioning. This latest example is from Delhi, where the owner of the Bajaj Pulsar 150 has modified his 12-year-old bike with a chunky rear tyre. The owner has overhauled his entire bike to fit the fat rear tyre and made some subtle cosmetic updates to highlight the new brawny appearance.

The owner explains that he has revised the complete chain sprocket system to accommodate the wide rear tyre on his stock Pulsar 150. The bike now has a longer custom swingarm to fit the wide rear tyre, while the tyre is wrapped around new alloy wheels sourced from the Dominar 400. Apart from the rear tyres, the bike also sports wider front tyres wrapped around custom alloy rims (also sourced from the Dominar).

The modified Pulsar 150 features a custom front fender that takes its inspiration from the Suzuki Hayabusa. The rest of the motorcycle looks stock. The owner mentioned that he added a new clip-on handlebar to match the aura of the modified bike. Last but not least, a monoshock unit has replaced the standard twin rear nitrox shock absorbers to accommodate the fat rear tyre.
There are some subtle changes to the powertrain as well
The modified Pulsar has also received subtle updates to the stock engine.But there are no changes in the power and torque output.

The owner mentioned in the video that the bike runs smoothly even after all the modification work, but the fuel efficiency of the motorcycle has dropped drastically after installing the fat tyres.
