Find out whether this race-bred Indian Street naked motorcycle has what it takes to take down its Japanese rival
We have posted a couple of drag race videos involving the TVS Apache RTR 165 RP. TVS introduced the Apache RTR 165 RP in limited numbers (restricted to 200 units). The motorcycle was launched under TVS’s newly introduced Race Performance (RP) series and produced more power than the standard Apache RTR 160 4V variant.
Watch the Apache RTR 165 RP taking on the Yamaha MT-15 in this video by YouTuber Highway Rider Yogi. The MT-15 is the sportiest Street naked 150cc motorcycle from TVS Motors Japanese rival Yamaha. Both the motorcycles produce almost the same amount of power and torque figures and get similar hardware onboard.

The Yamaha MT-15 was the winner of this drag race.
The Apache RTR 165 RP produces more power than the Yamaha MT-15 on paper, but the MT-15 is almost 10 kilograms lighter than the Apache, which helped the MT perform better in the real world.
