The TVS Apache RTR 165 RP uses a rebored version of the 159.7cc engine that powers the standard Apache RTR 160 4V. The heavily reworked 164.9cc four-valve, the single-cylinder engine produces 19.2 PS of peak power at 10,000rpm and 14.2Nm of peak torque at 8,750rpm. The motorcycle continues to use the 5-speed gearbox.
The Hero Xtreme 160R is powered by a 163 cc, air-cooled, 4 Stroke 2 Valve Single cylinder OHC engine that produces about 15.2 PS of peak power at 8,500 rpm and 14 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine is paired to a five-speed gearbox.
