The new sighting reveals two new colour options of the Scram 411
A few days ago, the Royal Enfield Scram 411’s brochure was leaked online, revealing crucial details about the bike. Now, the bike has started arriving at dealerships and the company has revealed that its launch will take place in the second week of March 2022.
Key Highlights
- The Royal Enfield Scram 411 has started reaching dealerships
- It is expected to launch by the end of this month
- Will get the same engine and underpinnings as the Himalayan
The photos reveal two new colors, a matte black with an enticing glossy white with red graphics
The photos, though not very clear, reveal two new colour options for the bike. The first one wraps the bike in a seemingly matte black shade and gets red and golden pinstripes for added swagger.

Meanwhile, the second livery features enticing glossy white bodywork with red graphics. This colour also gets a red ‘R’ graphic on the fuel tank.
Owing to its latest sighting, the Scram 411’s launch seems imminent
Both these liveries look quite premium and are a welcome change, which will also help the Scram 411 stand out from the Himalayan.
To jog your memory, the Scram 411 was previously spotted in a red/black dual-tone colour and a bright blue shade.
Royal Enfield Scram 411 Design & Features
It looks quite identical to the Himalayan, but misses out on all touring-friendly bits
Apart from the colours, the Scram 411’s design is quite identical to the Himalayan. However, the Scram 411 skips out on a windshield, tank brace, rear luggage carrier, and a high-set mudguard as it is more biased towards road-riding.
Owing to this, you also get a smaller 19-inch front wheel instead of the 21-inch unit found on the Himalayan.
With the design tweaks, the Scram 411 will also get a Meteor 350-derived dual-pod instrument cluster.
Royal Enfield Scram 411 Engine & Suspension
Underneath, however, the Scram 411 uses the same engine and suspension as the Himalayan
Coming to the engine, the Royal Enfield Scram 411 will use the same 411cc, single-cylinder motor which does duty on the Himalayan. It’ll most likely be a direct swap, meaning the power output (24.3PS and 32Nm.) would remain unchanged.
Like the engine, the Scram 411’s suspension setup will also be the same as the Himalayan. It’ll comprise telescopic forks and a mono-shock.
However, thanks to the smaller front wheel, the ground clearance decreases to 200mm, 20mm less than the Himalayan.
Royal Enfield Scram 411 Price
The Royal Enfield Scram 411 is expected to cost around Rs 1.95 lakh (ex-showroom), around Rs 20,000 less than the Himalayan. At this price, it’ll mainly go against the Honda CB350RS and the Yezdi Scrambler.
