Bajaj Pulsar 220F is the oldest contender in this long high-performance drag race. It uses a tried and tested 220cc, four-stroke, two-valve, Twin Spark BSVI compliant, DTS-i FI, oil-cooled engine. The unit is paired to a 5-speed gearbox that produces about 20.4 PS of peak power at 8,500 rpm and 18.55 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm.
The newest kid on the block is the Pulsar N250, uses a newly constructed BS6 compliant 249.07cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, SOHC, two valves, oil-cooled, fuel-injected engine. The new powertrain of the Pulsar N250 churns out 24.5 PS of peak power at 8,750 rpm and 21.5 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox.
The third contender, the RS200, also belonging to the Pulsar family, is powered by a 199.5 cc, liquid-cooled, Triple Spark, four-valve, fuel-injected engine. The Pulsar RS200’s engine churns out about 24.5 PS of peak power at 9,750 rpm and 18.7 Nm of peak torque at 8000 rpm. The engine is paired to a six-speed gearbox.
The fourth and final contender of this long drag race, the KTM RC 200 features a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. The unit paired to a 6-speed gearbox produces about 25 PS of maximum power at 10,000 RPM and 19.5 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 RPM.

The riders set off on the mark of three horns. The Pulsar N250 rider mistakenly started before the third horn and takes the lead at the start of the race. The Bajaj Pulsar 220F takes the second spot, followed by the KTM RC 200 in the third and the RS200 in the fourth spot.

The RC200 overtakes the N250 and occupies the lead position. But, the Pulsar 220F beats the N250 and secures the second spot mid-race. The KTM RC200 rider tucks behind the flyscreen and adjusts himself into a more aerodynamic position but still fails to beat the Pulsar 220F. Although the Pulsar 220F produces less power and torque than the RC200 but still manages to win this long drag race in the end.
