A modified Super Splendor that features a custom fuel tank from Royal Enfield and handlebars from the original Jawa 42 cruiser
The trend of transforming a stock vehicle to another popular model lookalike is not new. We have shared some eye-catching examples of bike modification on our website earlier (click the link here to find out).
Taking inspiration from such customization work, a custom bike builder from Rajasthan has modified a two-decade-old Hero Splendor into a Jawa 42 lookalikes.
A Youtube channel called “Reyansh Khichi” posted a detailed video of the modified bike on their channel. The modified Hero Super Splendor takes inspiration from the Jawa 42’s retro design and features many custom panels and parts from different bikes.

But this particular bike from Rajasthan has caught our attention recently
The bike gets a round headlamp and side turn indicators. The blacked-out grilles on the headlamp and the turn indicator add a rugged appearance to the front profile. The custom Super Splendor gets a handlebar lifted straight from Jawa, while the aftermarket analogue cylindrical-shaped instrument cluster looks like a replica of the original instrument cluster from Jawa 42.
The modified Super Splendor ditched its stock front forks for slightly thicker units from the Bajaj Pulsar 150. It even features a front disc brake unit from the Pulsar not available on the stock bike.
It even features a fuel tank from Royal Enfield with custom graphics on it
The bike sourced its fuel tank from the Royal Enfield Bullet. The custom bike builder has even repainted the fuel tank and added custom graphics to make it look more attractive.
The modified Super Splendor also sports a custom front and rear fender inspired by Royal Enfield cruisers, while the custom-made seat complements the overall retro styling of the motorcycle.
While the two-decade-old engine of this bike has been refurbished completely
The old engine of the Super Splendor has also been refurbished and painted in black. It even gets a custom exhaust pipe (painted in black to match the engine), resulting in a throatier exhaust note which goes well with the overall retro theme of the bike.
