The two-stroke era witnessed the birth of some unique and distinctive motorcycles. The Rajdoot 175 is one of them. The Rajdoot was not as powerful as the Yamaha RD 350 but produced an impressive torque at low down the range. Back in their days of glory, Rajdoot motorcycles were also known for their robust build quality and reliability, it was a simple machine to work on and was popular amongst the blue collared workers.

Before commencing the fuel efficiency test, the Youtuber empties the entire fuel tank of the bike and pours the 2T oil before filling the 1 litre of fuel into the fuel tank. Then he rides the motorcycle on the highway till he empties the fuel tank again.
The presenter tests the top speed of the bike first. The presenter was riding the bike with a pillion still the 40-year-old bike reached a top speed of 79 km/h. But after achieving the top speed, the engine overheated, and the rider noticed smoke coming out of the powertrain and the exhaust canister.

The rider resumed the fuel efficiency test after the bike cooled down. The speedometer of this 40-year-old bike didn’t work, so the rider decided to use the Smartphone to gather all the necessary data.
The presenter was able to collect fuel efficiency, average speed, and top speed data with the help of the Smartphone.

The bike reached a top speed of 79 km/h
The 40-year old Rajdoot returned an impressive fuel efficiency of 38.17 km on 1-litre petrol. The bike reached a top speed of 79 km/h (with a pillion on board) and set an average speed of 45 km/h.
Coming to the specs, the Rajdoot 175 used a 173-cc air-cooled, two-stroke engine that produced around 9 hp of peak power and 13.5 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a 3-speed gearbox. The gear lever and the kick starter were positioned on the same side, which was a unique feature of this bike.
