The price of the Nexon EV long-range will be significantly higher than the standard models
Firstly reported back in December 2021, the new version of Tata Nexon will be equipped with a larger 40kWh battery pack which is 30 percent larger than Nexon’s current 30.2kWh battery pack.
The battery pack used on the current models offers an ARAI-certified range of 312 km so it's safe to speculate that the long-range battery pack might be able to provide an overall range of about 400km in tests.

Along with an enhanced battery, this new version of Nexon EV may also be offered with a more powerful charger as an optional upgrade. This new and powerful charger will speed up the charging process of this new and larger battery pack. Having said this, the older 3.3 kW AC charger will be offered as a standard part of the package.
Tata is also expected to offer an optional charger with higher power rating
A number of changes will be made to the Nexon EV to accommodate the new and larger battery pack, For starters, we might see reduced boot space. On the other hand, the brand is expected to offer an improved four-wheel disc brake setup and many other additional features like a selectable regen mode, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and a new design for the alloy wheels.

The current Nexon EV price in India starts from INR 14.29 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The long-range Nexon EV will be sold alongside the current iteration of the car and is expected to be priced INR 3-4 lakh higher than the former. Tata Motors is serious about electric mobility as it is developing new all-electric platforms to further gain an edge over the competition.
