The Bajaj Pulsar F250 is powered by a 249.07 cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, SOHC, two valves, oil-cooled, fuel-injected, BS6 compliant engine. The newly developed powertrain of the Pulsar F250 produces around 24.5 PS of peak power at 8,750 rpm and 21.5 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox.
The Yamaha FZ25 uses a BS6 compliant 249cc, air-cooled, four-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve, fuel-injected engine that produces about 20.8 PS of peak power at 8,000 rpm and 20.1 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. The engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox.
