Royal Enfield has launched the Himalayan-based Scram 411 recently. The bike is more affordable than its bigger sibling and gets some minor tweaks. However, it employs the same engine that powers the Himalayan. But there is a twist the Scram is lighter than the Himalayan making it more agile and responsive.

The Contenders
The Scram 411 is based on the Himalayan and shares all the mechanicals and the powertrain with its bigger sibling
Royal Enfield Scram 411 uses the same 411cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled, SOHC, a fuel-injected unit from the Himalayan producing the same 24.3hp of peak power at 6,500rpm and 32Nm of torque at 4,250rpm while being mated to a five-speed gearbox.
The Yezdi Scrambler uses a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected motor that churns out about 30.2 PS of peak power at 8,000 rpm and 29.9 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine is paired to a six-speed gearbox.
