Cars have become bigger in size over the years and the definition of mid-size and full-size cars has changed in the past two decades

The Slavia’s size is now as big as the first-generation Skoda Octavia vRS. Interestingly, both the cars get a similar powered engine as well.
In the last two decades, many advancements have changed the world of automobiles related to technologies, styling and quality levels. The new Skoda Slavia has an upper hand over the MK1 Octavia since it uses modern technology. However, the customer demands and competition has increased the overall size of the cars. The Skoda Slavia is a mid-size sedan by categorization is now as big and as powerful as the Skoda Octavia vRS MK1.
