The bike also features a 6D lean angle sensor that can detect the Duke 890 Duke R roll from side to side, forward and backward movement, and even rotation on a vertical axis.

The Powertrain
The Austrian two-wheeler maker has taken the wraps off the updated 890 Duke R for the model year 2022 recently
The 2022 890 Duke R still; retains the same 890cc, Liquid-cooled DOHC parallel-twin engine that produces about 121 hp of peak power at 9,250 rpm and 99 Nm of peak torque at 7,750 rpm. The engine is paired to a six-speed gearbox.
Suspension and Brakes
The 2022 KTM 890 Duke R still retains the same 890cc, Liquid-cooled DOHC parallel-twin engine that offers sufficient power and torque
The 890 Duke R uses a load-bearing frame made out of chromium-molybdenum steel, while the material used in the subframe is cast aluminum. The 890 Duke R also gets a USD fork adjustable for compression and rebound damping from WP Apex, while the rear profile gets a fully adjustable monoshock setup.
The braking duties of the Streetfighter are taken care of by Brembo Stylema monoblock calipers coupled with 320 mm floating rotors at the front, as well as an adjustable Brembo MCS master cylinder which allows the rider to stop as quickly and precisely. A 240 mm single rotor does duty at the rear.
