Building a God Card Deck in Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel
The Egyptian God Card deck is deceptively simple to play. The God Cards have no special summoning conditions to meet to get them on the field; All you need is 3 tributes to get them on the field. Because of that, most of this deck is built around playing low-cost monsters and getting the God Cards in your hand.
Once your God-Cards are on the field, good luck getting rid of them. All three of them have incredibly high stats, and powerful effects to compliment them.
Playing The God Card Deck
Use cards like Gravekeeper’s Spy and Ra’s Disciple to pull monsters from your deck onto the field. Scapeghost and Marshmellion also make for fantastic tribute monsters, but you want to make sure you can get your cards down without them being destroyed before you can tribute summon a god card.
Quaking Mirror Force, Raigeki and Solemn Wishes help keep you and your tribute monsters alive long enough to get your God Cards on the field. Cards like The True Name and Pot Of Duality help you get the God Cards in your hand faster. Your real game begins once you have at least one God Card summoned, so you want to get one out as fast as possible.
Summoning The Winged Dragon Of Ra can be devastating on your life points, so you want to try and use The Winged Dragon Of Ra – Sphere Form to get the dragon out without paying for it. Sphere Form is especially useful because you can use the enemy’s monsters to tribute summon it, so it’ll likely be the first god card you get on the board.
Slifer’s powerful effect and Thunderforce Attack spell can keep the enemy’s board clear, so he should be your priority normal summon. Having even one of these cards on the field can end the game, so their ability to hold the board while you summon even more can make for a frightening duel for your opponent.
