It’s impossible to walk from one end of the 79th Members’ Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport to the other without having your head turned multiple times. No matter what your automotive preferences are, there will be something to stop you in your tracks.
Start at the Woodcote Paddock and you’ll find 1950s sports cars and 1960s GT cars. From there, you have the option of turning left for the Hailwood Trophy two-wheelers or right towards the drift cars, which are making their Members’ Meeting debut.
In the main paddock, there’s so much vying for your attention it’s difficult to choose where to go first. Will you be drawn to the Porsche 956 and 962s? Or will the Frazer Nashes take your eye? Maybe you’ll head straight for the single-seaters from the Derek Bell Trophy, or the 1950s saloons from the Sopwith Cup. If it’s saloon cars you like, then you skip forward a couple of decades with the Gerry Marshall Trophy cars.
Continue towards Madgwick end of things and it’s another step into the 1950s and ’60s with the Peter Collins Trophy Cars and Weslake Cup cars respectively. The pace increases in the Airfield Paddock with V10 era Formula 1 cars, and then goes back a few decades with the 1920s and ’30s Varzi Trophy cars.
