All will be revealed later today.
Hennessey has teased a new version of the Venom F5 hypercar, due to be revealed today ahead of its first public appearance at the Motorcar Cavalcade Concours d'Elegance this weekend (January 15).
The lone teaser image showcases an illustrated silhouette of the vehicle's side profile in black and white, with two easily discernable differences from the standard Venom F5 and Venom F5 Roadster. Both are seen behind the driver's head, with an overhead air intake mounted on the roof and a fixed rear wing instead of the electronically deployable one on standard models. No further information was provided other than that the car will be revealed at 7 AM Texas time today, but if we were to hazard a guess, it looks like something track ready.

We first caught wind of the new variant last week when Hennessey announced the delivery of its 10th Venom F5, a metallic blue example with white stripes. At the tail end of that release, it was mentioned a new variant would be revealed this week, but again, no further details were given.
Both current variants are considered to be relatively streetable but are also geared toward high-speed runs. Both are allegedly capable of a top speed of more than 300 mph. Thus far, the company has reached 271 mph with the coupe last year. However, judging by the wing on the new variant, we suspect Hennessey might try something different here, as the wing and roof scoop seem geared more toward track dominance.

We don't know whether the third variant will be street-legal or not, but we can expect power to come from the same twin-turbo 6.6-liter Fury V8 engine that produces 1,817 horsepower and 1,193 lb-ft of torque. With extra downforce, expect it to be able to corner rapidly, and we wouldn't be surprised to see sticky tires at each corner to aid in this pursuit.
With carbon fiber construction and an interior liberally using the stuff for the seats and every other conceivable surface, the standard Venom F5 is already lightweight, tipping the scales at 3,053 lbs at the curb. However, a track-focused version could shed further weight to dip beneath the 3k mark.
With only a few hours left before the reveal, we'll know more soon. Expect limited production, however, as the coupe was capped at 24 units and the roadster at 30.
