The Japanese carmaker could unveil the new SUV sometime by this year’s end.
Toyota has released the first teasers for its next-generation Land Cruiser Prado. The upcoming version of the Land Cruiser Prado will be the SUV’s fifth-generation iteration and is expected to share its underpinnings with the 2024 Lexus GX.
The teaser images reveal the side silhouette of the upcoming SUV, which appears very similar to the GX. The new Land Cruiser Prado is expected to get redesigned body panels, a boxier front end, smaller & lower-mounted headlights and large tail lights to help differentiate it from its Lexus sibling. The new-gen Prado will be offered in a three-row seven-seater configuration with the cabin getting all the latest tech with a bunch of creature comforts as well.
Toyota is yet to reveal any specific details of the upcoming SUV. The new-generation Land Cruiser Prado will go on sale in the USA, before making its way onto other international markets as well. The Japanese carmaker could unveil the new SUV sometime by this year’s end.
