The updated Nexon borrows design cues from the Curvv concept. Spy images have revealed a slim grille with L-shaped LED daytime running lights on either side, a new front bumper with a split air dam and vertical pods that house the headlamps.
Tata Motors has also reworked the rear design, giving the Nexon a new set of LED tail lights connected by an LED light bar and new dual-tone alloy wheels.
Inside, the new Nexon adopts a simple dashboard design. It houses a 10.25-inch touchscreen in the centre and a new HVAC module with haptic touch switches. The car also gets an all-new 2-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo in the centre and a digital instrument console.
The SUV will be offered with the same 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines. It is said that entry-level petrol trims will be offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox, while higher variants will get a new 7-speed dual-clutch automatic option. A 6-speed manual could also be offered on select petrol variants. On the other hand, the 1.5-litre diesel engine will continue with the 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT.
