Details remain scant, but the duo promises greatly improved performance and looks.
Steeda Performance Vehicles and McQueen Racing have joined forces to create a special edition of the 2024 Mustang. The Limited Edition series, as it's called, will be a joint venture between the two entities and promises to deliver high-quality performance vehicles to enthusiasts. With extensive upgrades in the pipeline, the duo promises “an unparalleled driving experience” at attractive prices.
With Steeda's performance know-how and McQueen Racing's high-end craftsmanship, the forthcoming Limited Edition series of cars sounds exciting. For now, details are minimal, but the hotted-up 2024 Mustangs will boast Steeda's suspension, braking, and powertrain systems, and “incorporate the latest performance technology,” said the companies in a statement.
The McQueen Racing Mustangs will wear Racing Mulholland wheels wrapped in Nitto Performance tires and tuned suspension that will improve handling.

Naturally, these unique Mustangs will be distinguishable thanks to various exterior styling updates. We can expect model-specific badging and, perhaps, even a menacing body kit that accentuates the Mustang's muscular lines. The interior will also receive its fair share of revisions.
The first cars are expected to hit the scene this summer, with pricing, specifications, and images to arrive before then. These McQueen Racing Mustangs will be made available exclusively through McQueen Racing and Steeda Performance Vehicle locations across the globe. Buyers will also benefit from a three-year/36,000-mile limited warranty as part of the package.
“Our relationship with Steeda has been remarkable over the years. This new series of performance cars represents a significant advancement. We're starting with the Mustang, and I can assure you it will be nothing short of exceptional. I'm incredibly thrilled,” said Chad McQueen, founder, and CEO of McQueen Racing.

The companies have worked together before, creating a spectacular special edition based on the Mustang Bullitt, which went out of production in 2021. With up to 775 horsepower up for grabs, the Steve McQueen Edition was just a taste of what's on the horizon.
Customers unable to modify their vehicles under the Steve McQueen Bullitt Edition Program will be pleased to know that, as part of the new project, they can upgrade their cars and join the official McQueen Racing Team.
We look forward to Steeda and McQueen Racing's take on a hotted-up S650 and expect it to be just as captivating as tuned Mustangs from years gone by. It's worth noting that the next-generation GT500 is expected to touch down in 2025, just in case you prefer your fast 'Stang with Shelby flavor.
