The gorgeous PrimaSerie 75th Anniversary Launch Edition will be made available in North America.
Maserati has confirmed that the 2024 GranTurismo PrimaSerie 75th Anniversary Launch Edition will be coming to North America in limited units. Built to commemorate 75 years since the first GranTurismo came along, the latest model takes inspiration from the A6 1500, which was Maserati's first-ever production car.
Powering the GranTurismo PrimaSerie is the same 3.0-liter Nettuno twin-turbo V6 you'll find in the halo MC20. But where the supercar develops 621 horsepower, the GT car makes do with a still-respectable 542 horses; the PrimaSerie is based on the Trofeo version of the GranTurismo. As a result, the 0-60 mph sprint is made in a claimed 3.5 seconds. A lesser variant with 483 hp is also available.
Just 50 examples will arrive in North America sporting the special Grigio Memiera Matte paintwork seen here.

Aside from the classy paint job, the PrimaSerie 75th Anniversary Launch Edition further distinguishes itself with sporty carbon fiber accents and Corse Red detailing on the signature triple side vents, wheels, and exterior badging.
Inside, the 50 lucky customers can look forward to a striking cabin trimmed in two-tone black-and-cream perforated leather. As with the exterior, Corse Red stitching adds a sporting touch to the snug cockpit. A classy herringbone motif has also been applied to the seats and the dashboard.
“The all-new GranTurismo is a revolutionized version of our brand icon and perfectly encapsulates the core pillars of performance, comfort, and timeless design,” said Bill Peffer, CEO of Maserati Americas. “The PrimaSerie 75th Anniversary Launch Edition pays homage to a storied collection of celebrated Maserati models – together with the Modena, Trofeo, and Folgore trims, GranTurismo will open new doors for Maserati in North America.”

The standard GranTurismo does not come cheap, with the entry-level Modena retailing for $174,000. If you want the Trofeo (on which this model is based), be prepared to fork out $205,000. That means we can expect this launch edition to retail for even more, but we will only know once the Italian brand releases pricing for this special model.
If you're craving even more power, remember that Maserati plans to release an all-electric Folgore variant of the new GranTurismo. With three electric motors hidden under its pretty body, this battery-powered luxury coupe can silently slink to 60 mph in a claimed 2.7 seconds, courtesy of 751 horsepower.
But what's a Maserati without a glorious sound? The company has thought about that, and the all-electric version will have a synthetic noise generator that delivers a satisfying soundtrack. It's nowhere near as good as the company's iconic V8, but it is better than nothing.
