Gautam Singhania, the billionaire businessman and chief of Raymond is an avid car enthusiast. If you read us regularly, you might know that Singhania bought a Maserati MC20 worth Rs 4 crore only some time ago. Singhania has now updated his social media channels saying that it is the worst car ever.
Singhania wrote, “The MC20 @Maserati_HQ has probably been the worst car I have driven in my life. Anybody buying a Maserati car should think twice.” He did not mention the reason for disliking the MC20 though. We are not sure why Singhania would claim that this is the worst car that he ever owned. Since he owns a lot of supercars, we can understand his plight.
Singhania bought the car earlier this year and got the delivery in June or July. The car is located in Mumbai and he is often spotted driving the car as well. While we are not sure what is wrong with Gautam Singhania’s car, there are not many who have reported facing issues with the Maserati MC20.
Jeremy Clarkson had some issues
Former BBC Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson did face a few issues with the MC20 but none of these problems were mechanical failures in the car or any problems in the car’s electronics. He, in fact, found it difficult to operate the vehicle. He said in his Sunday Column that he could not find the door handles on the car. Then, he also says that he took a lot of time to figure out how the parking brakes of the vehicle work as he had to turn on the engine again to engage the parking brake. However, he loved the car otherwise. Which is not the case with Singhania.
