Lamborghini is turning 60 years old this year, and as part of the celebration, it will introduce three limited-edition Huracans on 21 April at Milan Design Week. These limited editions will be based on the Huracan STO, Tecnica, and Evo Spyder. This is good news for affluent customers who want one of the last Huracans made. Production will officially come to a halt as soon as Lambo is finished producing the Sterrato.
Lamborghini will build 60 of each, and each model will be available in two different configurations. According to the Italian manufacturer, these models will redefine its heritage of creating trendsetting colors while including dedicated liveries meant to “enhance both the spirit and the unique lines that distinguish each model.” Lamborghini chose these three different models because they each represent something special and unique.
All models will at least be equipped with a “1 of 60” carbon fiber plate, a 60th logo painted on the doors, and another logo embroidered into the seats.
Huracan STO: Race-Inspired Designs
The trio has the same top-shelf 631-horsepower version of the 5.2-liter V10. The Super Trofeo Omologata (STO) is a road-legal supercar inspired by Lambo's one-make racers and weighs 88 pounds less than the Tecnica. The limited edition STO derivatives can be had in two specs, both inspired by high-performance sportswear or sports team colors that use tone-on-tone hues.
The first version's bodywork is finished in Blu Aegeus with Blu Astraeus design elements. These colors can be combined with exposed carbon fiber with a Blu Mira finish. On the inside, Lamborghini uses Alcantara finished in Nero Cosmus (black) and Grigio Octans (gray). To round it all off, Nero Ade is used for detailing, while Blu Amon is used for contrasting embroidery.
The second version has bodywork in Grigio Telesto (gray) and Nero Noctis (black), with exposed carbon fiber. The interior is done in Nero Cosmos and Grigio Octans Alcantara with stitching and leather details in Rosso Alala (red).
Both STO versions have 60th-anniversary embroidery and 20-inch forged aluminum Hek rims in a matte black finish.
Huracan Evo Spyder: The Lifestyle Convertible
Lamborghini says the Evo Spyder is meant to be the lifestyle option. Option one has bodywork in Blu Le Mans with Bianco Isi (white) contrasting details. The same color combination is carried over to the interior, which uses black Nero Ade Alcantara with Blu Amon embroidery and Bianco Leda piping.
Alternatively, you can opt for a Verde Viper body with contrasting Bianco Isi. This model's interior is finished in Nero Ade Alcantara with Rosso Alala and Bianco Leda.
Both Evo Spyder models have the same 20-inch Damiso shiny black rims.
Huracan Tecnica: Ultimate Street Performance
Finally, the Tecnica, which is the most versatile of the range. Both versions of the Tecnica are inspired by motorsport, even though the car is just as happy on the road as on a track. Both units incorporate the Italian Tricolore flag's colors.
The first option has Grigio Telesto (gray) bodywork with details in Nero Noctis (black) and Rosso Mars (red). The red and black blend is continued on the inside.
Lamborghini says the alternative option is the opposite, with Bianco Asopo (white) bodywork. It might be the best looking of the bunch, thanks to the Verde Viper (green) stripes. The green color repeats again on the inside.
Both of these vehicles boast 20-inch Damiso shiny black rims.
60th-Anniversary Celebrations
These models will debut alongside Lamborghini's all-new halo V12 supercar, the Revuelto, introduced a few weeks ago. The all-new Lamborghini Revuelto will make its first official debut outside Sant'Agata Bolognese.
The Revuelto is arguably the most significant part of the 60th-anniversary celebrations, which, to date, includes a renovated Lamborghini Museum and a Lamborghini Day in Japan. The festivities will culminate in Italy on 28 May. A Concours d'Elegance will occur in Piazza Maggiore in Bologna, and some of the most exclusive machines ever made are expected to appear.
We don't expect the Huracan replacement to appear until next year, most likely because Lamborghini doesn't want to steal the Revuelto's thunder. But given the attention to detail and revolutionary systems used in the Revuelto, we expect something exceptional.
