- How to Win the 2022 Wish for More HORSEPOWER Lingenfelter Eliminator Spec Engine Raffle
The goal of the Make-A-Wish Foundation has been to restore hope by granting wishes to children with critical illnesses since 1980. The children, families, and even the donors and volunteers who make granting these wishes possible all benefit from the experience of giving these children hope, igniting the spark of belief that anything is possible.
Lingenfelter Performance Engineering and Dave Kindig of Kindig-It Design and Bitchin’ Rides want to add 650-horsepower-worth of spark to that mission by raffling off a Lingenfelter Eliminator Spec Engine at the 21st Annual Lingenfelter Performance Blue Suede Cruise, held at Summit Motorsport Park in Norwalk, Ohio, from July 29-31, 2022.
What Is a Lingenfelter Eliminator Spec Engine?
The Lingenfelter Performance Engineering Eliminator Spec Engine, valued at $30,000, is a combination of Lingenfelter forged rotating-assembly parts, ported Lingenfelter LS3 heads with LSX springs, a Billet Specialties Tru Trac front accessory-drive kit, Lingenfelter roller cam, and the gorgeous Borla 8-stack ITB induction system. As mentioned, the 427ci V-8 is good for 650 hp, and it will come with a Lingenfelter certificate of authenticity, and will be signed by Ken Lingenfelter and Dave Kindig. The winner will also have the option to customize the engine build at their own cost if they choose.
Why is Dave Kinding involved with all of this? The Lingenfelter Eliminator 427 you could win is the same engine Dave Kinding uses in the Kindig CF1, Kindig-It Design’s first series production car. Unveiled on the Monday Reveal Stage during SEMA Show 2021 and documented in four episodes of Bitchin’ Rides, the Kindig CF1 is an all-carbon-fiber-bodied tribute to the 1953 Chevrolet Corvette. The Corvette-inspired Kindig CF1 preserves everything that was great about the 1953 Corvette, but modernizes and thoroughly irons out the first-year Vette’s issues—namely the cabin that could only fit drivers under 5-foot-6 in height, and the bulbous front end.
How to Win the 2022 Wish for More HORSEPOWER Lingenfelter Eliminator Spec Engine Raffle
Raffle tickets start at $50 for one entry (click here to purchase), with discounts on multi-ticket purchases. There are no limits on the number of entries per person, but they must be received by July 30th at 12:00 PM EST. Entrants must be 18 years or older to be eligible. It’s as simple as that; the more raffle tickets you buy, the more wishes the Make-A-Wish Foundation can grant. Dave Kindig will randomly select the winning raffle ticket on July 30, 2022 at the 21st Annual Lingenfelter Performance Blue Suede Cruise, right before the concert, at 8:00 PM EST.
Worried about making it to Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio, in time for the raffle? There’s no need! The winner does not have to present to claim the Lingenfelter Eliminator Spec Engine grand prize. But if you can make it to the Blue Suede Cruise, you’ll enjoy three days of 1978-and-earlier hot rods, customs, muscle cars, and trick trucks, plus live music, food, parts vendors, fireworks, drag racing, fun runs, and appearances by Dave Kindig and Kevin “Kevdogg” Schiele.
