Californian electric tractor manufacturer Solectrac, an operating company of Ideanomics, is continuing to expand of its certified sales and dealer network in the USA.
The new dealership expansion will allow Solectrac electric tractors to be sold in Hawaii, Maine, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia. The company also added to their California dealership network with two more dealers. This makes for a total current dealership network stretching from coast to coast at 38 locations, the company proudly added.
In addition to the expansion of their sales network, the American company is also introducing a cost-of-ownership calculator called SolecSave, which is supposed to provide “customers with a clear picture of the total cost of owning an electric tractor vs. a combustion engine tractor and provides information on available incentives and grants to buy an electric tractor.”
“Our growth strategy is working. In just six months, we saw more Solectrac tractor sales than all of last year,” said Ideanomics Mobility President, Robin Mackie. “Of course, this is no surprise. Solectrac makes the best electric tractor – it’s powerful, quiet, and zero-emission. By expanding our dealer network, we are making it as easy as possible for customers to see, touch, test, and ultimately own one.”
Solectrac only recently announced plans to open an electric tractor factory with Nolan, and had made another push to expand their sales network only in July.
