The hot hatch market is dying a slow death but fortunately, the Abarth 595 and 695 exist as bang-for-buck, grin-inspiring models. Along with a simplified purchase process, the Italian hatch will also include a bright orange lick of paint as an ode to its antecedents.

What happens when you mix the red and yellow from the Abarth logo together? You get a bright hue of orange, the same one on this Abarth 595 and 695. Along with the liveried model, the Abarth range has been simplified for the 2023 model year.
The hot hatch market is dying a slow death, sadly for enthusiasts that want a bang-for-buck vehicle to instil a grin onto their faces. Fortunately, there still exist a select few models, powered by fossil fuel that can deliver these cheap thrills. The Abarth range is one of them and now the 595 and 695 will have a bright orange lick of paint to honour a historic livery.
These colours pay homage to the successful Fiat 131 Racing Volumetrico Abarth limited edition with its Orange Racing 255 livery. This bright orange lick of paint will now be a colour option for 2023 model Abarth 595 and 695 models.

The aforementioned derivatives of the funky Italian hatchback will now be offered exclusively with two “souls” to make the purchasing and specification process simpler and more streamlined. Buyers will have a choice between the familiar Italian words of Turismo and Competizione for their Scorpion badged hot hatch. The former is centred closer to style and comfort, with 17-inch wheels and a Turismo badge curtailing the exterior while the inside boasts black leather seats.

For those wanting a hardcore model wearing the Abarth badge? Well, there is the Competizione level of trim that features 17-inch Competizione alloy wheels and badge for the exterior while the interior includes Sabelt Carbon fibre seats. To further prove its mettle as a sportier alternative, the Competizione model also wears a limited-slip differential as part of its mechanical workings.
Thereafter, buyers will select a Tech pack or Comfort pack which further delves into details on the car including Xenon headlights, Beats audio and automatic climate control, depending on the trim. The purchase process will be applicable to drop top and hatchback body types of the two-door model. The more potent, and more expensive 695 will also have optional components like the Record Monza Sovrapposto Exhaust and Brembo brakes to add to the relatively short and easy shopping process if the buyer desires improving the sound of the 1,4-litre turbocharged motor.
