LaCronicaDeHoyTwitterAmado González, a Mexican YouTuber who goes by the name Heisenwolf, was arrested Tuesday after he crashed his Chevrolet Camaro into a taxi, killing six people, Mexican publication El Universal reports.
González was allegedly driving his red and white Camaro in the wrong lane towards oncoming traffic when the head-on impact occurred on Sunday, Vice reports. Three people died at the scene, while the other three, including a 10-year-old girl and her mother, died later at the hospital.
Images of the crash shared widely online allegedly show the Camaro and the taxi post-incident, with both cars suffering heavy damage to their respective front ends. El Universal suggests excessive speed was a factor in the severity of the crash.
González, the sole survivor of the crash, was also injured by the impact and transferred to a hospital. He’s been charged with homicide by the Mexico State Attorney General, with a court appearance set for October 5, according to Vice. His YouTube page currently has 1.47 million subscribers as of this writing.
