With obscure pictures popping up on social media showing the three veteran presenters, it seems that The Grand Tour’s latest antics have Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May venturing into some rugged terrain with equally veteran cars.
Clarkson and his general love for Italian classics had him select a blue Lancia Montecarlo, while James May has piloted a purple 1974 Triumph Stag and Richard Hammond has taken the helm of a Ford Capri RS3100. As always, a backup car is believed to be a beige Rover SD1. As a guess, it would be assumed the trio had to select classic cars from the 1970s, presumably within a certain price bracket, and fly them out to the Southern quadrant of Africa for one last dance.
Spoiler alert: a reddit user has been filling in all blanks which include prospective locations and challenges.
A final post by Jeremy Clarkson alludes to the fact that the several-week-long shooting campaign has since come to an end for the Grand Tour Trio. No information on when the episode will be aired has been made available yet however, based on editing schedules, it is likely that it will only arrive in by the middle of 2024. This will follow the Eurotrash episode which premiered on the 16th of June this year.
