The Porsche 911 GT3 (996), BMW Z4 Motorsport, and Jaguar F-Type Project 7 are part of the quintet.
Hot Wheels has collaborated with Forza on a new range of die-cast collectibles based on a series of sports and supercars.
Famous die-cast fanatic Ministry of Diecast previewed the new set in a YouTube video, giving us an up-close look at the latest entrants into the Hot Wheels world. The first is the Porsche 911 GT3 (996). Painted in Racing Yellow, the first-ever GT3 has been decked out in a Forza livery, with the game's logo on the doors and roof. The Xbox logo is also present on the vehicle.
Interestingly, the light details aren't a faithful recreation of the production model, which might annoy collectors with high standards. Still, it's a fun addition that any Porsche fan would love to have.

Next, we have the Bugatti EB110 SS. The “SS” derivative produced more power than the standard model, with the quad-turbocharged 3.5-liter V12 tuned to develop a mighty 603 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. This enhanced variant can hit 60 mph in 3.2 seconds before topping out at 221 mph.
Hot Wheels' version, however, is a touch slower and can only go as fast as you can push it. While the performance isn't the same, collectors can appreciate the delightful Gandini styling, uplifted here with Bugatti Blue paintwork. A black-painted section, situated behind the doors, carries the Forza emblem in white. Curiously, the headlights are black, but Hot Wheels has been more successful with the taillight design.

Jaguar's wild F-Type Project 7 is also part of the collection. The dramatically-styled drop-top is painted in classic British Racing Green, and the die-cast model retains the motorsport-inspired white circles on the doors. A white stripe also flows horizontally across the hood and front fenders.
The Forza and Xbox stickers are smaller here and appear above and beneath the side air vents. The Jag retains its dramatic shape in die-cast form, replete with the prominent rear wing, flying buttress, and oversized front splitter. The black-painted wheels are comically large and give the F-Type more ground clearance than in real life.

The BMW Z4 Motorsport is the most racy-looking of the collection. Aside from the expected Forza and Xbox logos, the Interlagos Blue Metallic coupe has been brightened up with the signature M colors on the hood, doors, and roof.
Z4 M Coupes were popular platforms for racing exploits, with several teams piloting them in various endurance races worldwide. The M Coupe Motorsport was powered by a modified version of the 3.2-liter inline-six (S54B32) engine; outputs were boosted to 395 hp in this guise.
Sadly, the die-cast Bimmer doesn't have as much detailing for the front and rear headlights, but it's still one of the most exciting-looking vehicles in the collection.

Representing Italy is the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione. A beautiful car in the metal, the 8C has been paired with an unfortunate color scheme, with red decals and wheels sitting at odds with the silver paintwork. The detailing (badges, light clusters) is a bit more true to life, though, scoring the Alfa some points.
Overall it's a fun collection for fans of Hot Wheels and Forza fans. We're curious to see whether these vehicles will make their way into the forthcoming Forza Motorsport video game, as the initial car list does not mention these five. They may be added in at a later date.
Hot Wheels constantly releases new and exciting designs. Last year, the Mattel-owned brand revealed the fun Team Transport range, which matched an iconic racing car with a liveried transport truck. Let's not forget winners of the Legends Tour also receive the honor of having their car commemorated in 1:64 die-cast form.
