Haval Australia has introduced a new flagship grade for the Jolion, with the limited-edition Vanta giving the small SUV a sportier look.
Restricted to 500 examples and priced from $34,485 drive-away, the Vanta commands a $1495 premium over the Jolion’s full-time range-topper, the Ultra.
It’s worth noting the Vanta comes standard with Mars Red metallic paintwork, which is a $495 option for the Ultra and the entry-level Premium ($27,490) and mid-range Lux ($29,990).

So, what else helps the Vanta stand out from the Jolion crowd? Well, just like the recently released H6 Vanta mid-size SUV, it gets a series of black exterior design flourishes.
These include the darkened front foglight surrounds, 18-inch alloy wheels, side door accents, roof rails and lower rear bumper trim, which help tempt would-be MG ZS, Mitsubishi ASX, Mazda CX-30 and Hyundai Kona buyers.
Like other Jolion variants, the Vanta is motivated by a 110kW/210Nm 1.5-litre turbo-petrol four-cylinder engine, which sends drive to the front wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
For reference, standard equipment in the Premium includes 17-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, rear privacy glass, a 10.25-inch touchscreen multimedia system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, and fabric upholstery.

Advanced driver-assist systems extend to front autonomous emergency braking (with pedestrian and cyclist detection), lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, driver attention alert, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, a reversing camera and rear parking sensors.
The Lux adds LED lights, a six-speaker sound system, a 7.0-inch multifunction display, heated front seats (including six-way drive power adjustment), dual-zone climate control, ComfortTek artificial leather upholstery, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, an auto-dimming rearview mirror and surround-view cameras.
Meanwhile, the Ultra also gets 18-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, a 12.3-inch touchscreen multimedia system, a head-up display and a wireless smartphone charger.
