Maruti recently partnered with Quicklyz and is the latest manufacturer to offer its vehicles through a subscription model
For the new car buyers, buying a car seems to be more of a stressful affair where the buyer needs to go through an extremely tedious process of paperwork, registrations, and whatnot. And it does not end there, buying a car is a long-term commitment, and maintenance of the car isn’t an easy job either.
For such buyers, a number of brands are offering subscription-based services including the recently announced Maruti Subscription plans in India. Here is everything that you need to know about the Maruti Suzuki subscription plans.
Maruti Suzuki has tied up with Quicklyz, a platform by Mahindra Finance for vehicle subscriptions in the Indian market. Quicklyz offers vehicle subscription programs across 20 cities in the country including major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru.
The subscription plans from Quicklyz offer tenures ranging from 24 months to 60 months in which the vehicle will be registered under the user’s name and hypothecated to the subscription partner.
What Cars Are Offered Under The Subscription Plans?
The outgoing Maruti Baleno will also be offered under these scheme
The platform offers 6 cars for the subscription that includes Baleno, Swift, Brezza, Ertiga, XL6, and Ciaz.
The platform however misses out on newer models like the Celerio, S-Cross, Alto, S-Presso, Ignis, and WagonR from the list for now. These cars however might get added somewhere in near future.
What Options Will Maruti Offer?
Maruti is currently working with a number of subscription partners in India
The brand has so far tied up with four subscription platforms for its scheme, giving the buyers a flexible choice of their subscription partner. The list includes ALD automotive, Myles, Orix, and the newly recruited Quicklyz.
Along with this, Kolkata was further been added as the 20th subscription city in the brand’s scheme where the buyers can opt for subscribing. Apart from that, a new 5-year tenure has been added in addition to the already existing 1,2,3, and 4 years giving the short-term owners their chance of experiencing this new trend of mobility.
