Suzuki Motorcycle India launched its updated 125cc scooter lineup in the country with a starting price of Rs 79,400 (ex-showroom, India) for the Suzuki Access 125 Standard Edition.
The updated 125cc scooter lineup now sports a new powertrain that complies with the upcoming emission regulations in the country. Furthermore, this new powertrain is compatible with E20 fuel as well.
Diving into details, this new uprated 125cc powertrain is now available in the 2023 Suzuki Access 125, Avenis, and Burgman Street. Furthermore, these scooters now come with OBD2 ports to detect and read various parameters including emissions in real time.
Commenting on the launch of the updated scooter lineup, Mr Devashih Handa, Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing and After Sales for Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd said that the new powertrain is E20 fuel compliant and the company intends to gradually make the entire product portfolio E20 compliant.
As part of the update, the Suzuki Avenis scooter now gets a Metallic Sonic Silver/Metallic Triton Blue shade, whereas the Suzuki Burgman Street gets a Pearl Matte Shadow Green shade. Also, we expect these new colour options to attract more customers to Suzuki dealerships in India.
Coming to the pricing, the disc brake variant of the Suzuki Access 125 Standard Edition is now priced at Rs 83,100 (ex-showroom, India), whereas the Suzuki Access 125 Special Edition and Ride Connect Edition cost Rs 84,800 (ex-showroom, India) and 89,500 (ex-showroom, India), respectively.
On the other hand, prices for the updated Suzuki Avenis scooter starts from Rs 92,000 (ex-showroom, India). In comparison, the Ride Connect Edition of the Suzuki Avenis scooter costs Rs 300 more.
Finally, prices for the Suzuki Burgman Street range of scooters now start from Rs 93,000 (ex-showroom, India), whereas the top-spec Suzuki Burgman Street Ride Connect Edition scooter is now priced at Rs 97,000 (ex-showroom, India).
